  • Marie says:

Reflection from “Lives of the Saints” Book 2:
“In many ways the life of a Christian calls for both faith and courage. Like St. John of Sahagun, we must expect to be treated with scorn if we speak out in favor of peace, justice, truth, generosity, and concern for the poor, according to Gospel principles.

Prayer: God our Father, in Your wisdom you raised up John of Sahagun as an example of faith and courage. Grant us the courage to imitate his love for Your Word……

thanks Father Ignatius! I go to daily mass – thanks be to God! My whole day is centered around going to Mass, I feel it is the most important and valuable thing I can do for myself and for my loved ones each day. Receiving Jesus in the Holy Eucharist gives me the courage to suffer for the faith and the love I need to be a witness of peace to the people I deal with everyday, most of whom are unbelievers. Praised be Jesus and Mary!
