Ave Maria!— March’s Theme: Imperfections and Sins
“How many times for the past have I exchanged Jesus for some vile thing of this world! I see in myself a mystery: I continually grieve for the sins committed; I continually have a resolute will not to sin any more; and yet, I regret to say it, with blood in my eyes, that with all this I am still so imperfect and it seems to me that I often disgust the Lord. Sometimes a great desperation comes over me because it seems almost impossible that Jesus must forgive me so many sins.”
Wow … I will have to print this one out. It is the lamentation of my soul. Thank you for posting St. Padre Pio’s wisdom each day. It is my morning vitamin.
God’s blessings to you all.
