AirMaria Breathes New Life into Podcasting

Ave Maria!

You may have noticed, in recent days, the following link appearing at the end of some AirMaria posts:

Audio (MP3)

Well, you guessed correctly, AirMaria.com is finally venturing into the Podcasting arena and breathing new life into all of those iPods, Zunes, Blackberries, MP3 Players, and anything else out there that can play MP3 audio files (the link above is just for an example but if you click on it you will hear a sample of the beautiful Gregorian Chant sung by the Garrepy Family Choir at Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel, Griswold, CT, on the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes during the celebration of the Extraordinary form of the Mass on February 11th 2009)

We’ve got our feed up and running:

And we’ve even got our listing in iTunes:

In the next few days you should see our RSS Podcast feed link at the bottom of the page, and also the RSS Podcast feed logo and link on the sidebar.

So…. at long last AirMaria.com is finally in the world of podcasting – you spoke, we listened – stay ituned!

Ave Maria!

BTW – Whilst on the sound waves theme: AirMaria has applied for several Non-Commercial Educational FM broadcast licenses and we hope to be on the air very soon with our first radio station in the New Beford, MA, area (the website is under construction but you may have a peek). Unfortunately we still have some outstanding legal fees for the application of these NCE-FM licenses which need to be paid soon. If you are willing and able to help us to repay these debts, and would like to help to advance the cause of Catholic radio in the United States, please consider making a tax deductible donation.

Thank you to all our AirMaria.com viewers who have donated to us in the past – we really appreciate the support we have, and still

Wow! I can’t contribute sadly but I’m excited to hear about the radio station! Ave Maria. (FM, too! that’s impressive. We don’t even have FM Catholic Radio in Dallas.)

As for the radio station. Pretty cool. Spreading God’s word in yet another positive way. Nice!
