Ave Maria!

After the 36th Annual March for Life yesterday, our Roving Reporter stayed on in DC to attend some of the post-March conferences and get some interviews with the famous Pro-Life celebrities giving presentations at the conferences. Today friar Roderic was very blessed to be able to talk to Alan Keyes - a presidential candidate in the 2000 election and an incredibly gifted speaker.

I like Alan Keyes, but he should not generalize about all Republican Candidates not standing up unequivocally for the unborn. Ron Paul is libertarian in a particular way, but anyone who has heard him speak about abortion knows that he speaks most convincingly without dicing words like politicians so often do.
Also, I wouldn’t be so quick in singing the praises of Abraham Lincoln. He stood for big northern businesses more than our country, and he represents the end of dialogue and shared sovereignty.

    Friar Roderic,

Nice. You scored a great guest. I haven’t heard much from Dr. Keyes in recent years, so it was nice to hear his clarion message once again. What I wouldn’t give to see him debate Obama.

    Ave Maria,
    Ken

The website Alan Keyes mentioned was http://www.AIPNews.com

Alan Keyes answers callers’ questions on Tuesday & Thursday AIP Conference Calls … discuss news of the day, politics, the Personhood Movement, government affairs, theology, etc. from principle to practice …

All of goodwill are welcome to join the conversation.

Come ask Alan Keyes what separates his pro-life position from that of Dr. Ron Paul’s. There is a decided difference.

For information, visit http://www.AIPNews.com on Tues. or Thurs. afternoon, where access information is typically posted.
