Homily #081225 ( 08min) Play - "... and dwelt amongst us." This is the most beautiful and greatest event that ever took place. This is our joy and our hope for happiness now and forever. Keep the Christ Child, the greatest gift possible, as the source of our generosity to others in this season of Christmas. Glory to God in the highest!

That’s true , Jesus is the hope and roadmap to eternal life. And a roadmap without error that is continually promulgated by the Church.

If people only knew that Saint Nicholas was a 4th-5th century Bishop who (better than a legend) raised two children from the dead who were murdered and hid in a pickle brine barrel and as a child youth gave his inheritance of gold coins away to save a man’s three daughters from being sold into prostitution/slavery by their own father.

Put the CHRIST back in Christmas and the BISHOP back into Santa.
