“Oh! What a burden this mortal life is for the children of God; but the life that is beyond and that the mercy of the Lord will be pleased to grant us, oh God! How much more it is to be desired. We must certainly not distrust to one day possess it, even if we are so miserable; and if we are not so [miserable], this happens because God uses mercy on those who have placed their hope in Him.”
