That looked like an awesome trip. Did friar Thomas ever make it down, or is he still trying to get to the bottom. What a way to spend the day.
Ave Maria!
Yes, Fra Thomas made it down safe and sound. He was given a bit of guff for taking up the rear guard the whole way, but he made it. And his humility is very healthy. I must confess that I stayed behind at the friary just so that I would not be the rear guard. My humility is not so healthy.
So, Fra. Roderic, if you didn’t go, who was the poor soul who had to carry the camera and film things without falling flat on his face in a pile of rubble??
Congratulations!
Care to try this in Colorado?
I can just see it now–little crosses and statues of the Immaculate at the top of the 14,000 ft peaks. That would be nice!

JosephMary,
I don’t know if we are ready for 14,000ft, especially carrying statues and crosses on our backs. I’m not even ready for 6,000. God Bless.
This is awesome! Happy Feast Day!

Jennifer,
Fra Didicus carried the camera, shot the shots and edited this edition. And did a great job, again.
I simply watched the finished product in my nice comfortable chair back at AirMaria headquarters.
I’ve done the trip a bunch of time. If I had only known I would have made the trip. congrats to all. I am truly jealous.
😉
Amerei sapere quale frate parlava in italiano?! Ave Maria!
Son of the Immaculate Says:
Amerei sapere quale frate parlava in italiano?! Ave Maria!
Translation: I would love to know which friar spoke in Italian!
Yes, some of the friars where practicing their Italian. I think it was Fra Anthony and Fra Jose Maria.
S?, alcuni dei frati stavano esercitando nel loro italiano. Penso che sia stato Fra Anthony e Fra Jose Maria.
Come e Il mio Italiano? 🙂 Actualmente e Babelfish
