A house built on rock is a house built on the papacy of Peter.
There are also the words teaching , authority and then in contrast evildoers and fools used in this gospel passage.
I think his message was to tell us to be a Roman Catholic to do the will of his Father. Unless you ve never heard of Roman Catholic , in which case you shouldn t have heard of Christ. Because like the Eucharist he cannot be seperate from his church.
