Mar 17 – St. Maximilian – Divine Operations and Pain

By March 17, 2008April 30th, 2008Fr. Ignatius Manfredonia, St. Maximilian Daily

Ave Maria!March’s Theme: Suffering

“In divine operations, nothing significant is ever accomplished without pain. As for the rest, could there be a sacrifice which is too great when it comes to the Immaculate? We have consecrated ourselves to Her not only in theory, but really, and in practice. And if we do not tire in conquering the whole world for the Immaculate, sufferings will not cease to pour upon us; and as much as we continue to tenaciously fight, that much more grievous and numerous will be the sufferings that fall upon us. But only until death. Then will come the resurrection.” (SK #631)
