Ave Maria!— March’s Theme: Suffering
“Let us thank the Immaculate for interior peace, for the ecstasies of love, however, let us not forget that all of this, although good and beautiful, is by no means the essence of love and that love, and even perfect love, can exist even without all of this. The apex of love, in fact, is the state in which Jesus found Himself on the Cross when He said, ‘My God, my God, why hast thou abandoned me?’ (Mt 27:46; Mc 15:34). Without sacrifice, there is no love” (SK #503)
