Ave Maria!
“If a religious soul spends time away from the friary, we must not be surprised if day by day it becomes weaker in the love promised by vow unless an extraordinary grace does not come to help him, and it will certainly come in the case that his stay away from the friary does not depend on his own will. In such a case, however, the religious must not neglect prayer and the duty to observe his holy vows in the most faithful way possible. If effect, what wouldn’t the good Lord do for a soul who loves Him?” (SK #908)
