“Even if Satan were to lead a soul into a very serious fall, if he does not succeed in extirpating from it the devotion to the Immaculate, his prey is not yet altogether certain. But if a soul were to forget about his own Heavenly Mother and cease to render homage to Her, even if he managed to surround himself with all of the most diverse devotions and to practice all possible virtues, nonetheless, after the interruption of this channel of grace, he will inevitably roll into the abyss.” (SK #1293)
