Month of December: Immaculate Conception
“Who are you, O Immaculate Conception? Not God, because He has no beginning; not an angel, created directly from nothing; not Adam, formed from the slime of the earth; not Eve, taken from Adam; and neither are you the Word Incarnate, who already existed from all eternity and is ‘conceived’ rather than ‘conception’. Before conception the children of Eve did not exist, that is why they can be better called ‘conception’. However, you are different even from them, because they are conceptions contaminated with original sin, while you alone are the Immaculate Conception.” (SK #1318)
