The disciples returned in jubilation, at that moment Jesus rejoiced. Jubilation and rejoicing, happiness we can say.
Everyone seeks happiness. Every person an the face of the earth seeks to be happy. Whether he be a sinner or whether he be a saint, everyone is seeking after happiness.
The saints of course seek happiness in doing the will of God, in seeking to know and do that which is pleasing to God.
