Today's Gospel is rich in meaning and understanding for those who truly fear the Lord. In order for us to understand the message in today's Gospel we must understand that the modern interpolation is a grave error for we hear very often that there are many who say we may hold out hope the Dives, the rich man in today's Gospel was preserved.

This homily was both powerful and timely.
We need more homilies like this (i.e. orthodox treatment [in line with the magisterium of the church]of the gospels ) at the diocesan level, from secular priests, the world over.
