Today's Gospel continues the narrative of Nicodemus' night encounter with Christ, & Fr. Bonaventure continues to discuss the significance of Christ's teaching in light of the fall of our first parents. What the devil promised Adam & Eve is precisely what they lost by obeying him, & so it fell on the shoulders of Christ to restore us & make us once again children of His heavenly Father.
