“Reflect upon and have always before your mind’s eye the great humility of the Mother of God and our Mother who, in the measure that the heavenly gifts increased in Her, immersed Herself ever more in humility, so much that She was able to sing from that moment when She was overshadowed by the Holy Spirit, making Her the Mother of the Son of God: ‘Behold the Handmaid of the Lord’. Our dearest Mother sang the same thing at St. Elizabeth’s house, even though She was bearing within Her chaste womb the Word made flesh.”
