Fr Dominic Murphy Murphy gives the homily, on how we are called to joyfully and selflessly spread the living Gospel message of Jesus' presence and power, trusting in God's provision, just as the apostles were sent out with miraculous powers and a spirit of detachment.

Fr. Dominic emphasizes that the Gospel message is a beautiful and powerful way to live, bringing the Kingdom of God alive in our hearts. We are naturally compelled to share this joy and truth with everyone, especially those who don't know God or are in false religions. He reminds us of the apostles' mission, where Jesus empowered them to perform miracles like healing the sick and casting out demons, and instructed them to go forth without worldly possessions, trusting completely in God's provision. This spirit of giving freely what we have received freely, without self-seeking, is crucial. While we may face opposition, our mission is to share the living presence of Jesus and the beauty of the Catholic Church and its sacraments with the world, persevering in grace.
