Fr. Andre M. Feain gives a contemporary interpretation of today's Gospel for the homily for Saturday of the Sixteenth Week in Ordinary Time (Jul 27, 2024) at Our Lady's Chapel in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Today's ideologies have crept into the thinking of Catholics, and these secular errors threaten the Eucharistic faith of the Church. The shepherds must guide the faithful in Eucharistic devotion, to give the true food which fortifies the soul, and not allow them to feed on the poisonous darnel of worldly ideologies.
