Joachim on the life of St. Luke and focuses on the fact that he was the only gentile Evangelist who did not meet Jesus but systematically gathered all the stories of those who did know him and recorded them in his gospel account. He was an eye witness to many of the events that he recorded in the Acts of the Apostles as he traveled with St. Paul.
