Thank you, Father Angelo, for the beautiful and edifying homily about Fr. Alphonsus. All of you who knew him are blessed indeed to have a holy friend; not only while he was here on earth, but now in heaven. I can’t think of a greater eartlhy gift from God than to have a friend whose eyes and heart are focused on heaven! And to have that friend show you the way through the narrow gate by word, example, and extraordinary love! May Fr Alphonsus intercede for the Franciscans of the Immaculate, and for all who were blessed to know him. 🙂
