Ave Maria!

After three years of being guardian at Our Lady of Guadalupe Friary in Griswold, CT, USA (which is headquarters for AirMaria) Fr. Ignatius will be leaving for Italy on October 13th to continue his studies for his doctorate in Moral Theology at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome. Fr. Dominic Murphy, who has been transferred from New Bedford, MA where he was guardian, has already assumed the role of guardian at the friary and you can see his first homily on AirMaria here.

We will definitely miss you, Fr. Ignatius, and we will pray for the success of your studies and for every grace from God. Arrivederci!

Ave Maria!

May Our Lady of the Snows protect you in Rome, May Our Lady of Good Counsel help you with your theology, May St. Joseph help you with studying hard and working hard, May St. Max Kolbe obtain for you abundant blessings along the way and may St. Francis of Assisi and the Infant Jesus keep you humble and kind. God love you and we will pray for you always. Thank you Father for choosing to be a priest and serving us with so much zeal and love! I hope we can still see you on video or some way, some how along the journey – Come back soon! 🙂

Ave Maria! You will definitely be missed by our family, Fr. Ignatius, but we know that Our Lady will continue to take you wholly to Herself as Her possession and property, taking all that you have without reserve, wholly to accomplish what has been said of Her, increasing Her glory to the maximum in all the many strayed and indifferent souls…extending as far as possible the blessed Kingdom of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus! Thank you for all you have done for us here – it is time for Our Lady to share you with others, but we do hope that the Marian Vow will bring you back to CT some time soon! Ave Maria!
