Ave Maria!

Here is some video footage of the Canterbury Cathedral and vicinity  by Fr. Angelo Geiger. Canterbury Cathedral in Canterbury, Kent, is one of the oldest and most famous Catholic structures in England. The cathedral's first archbishop was St. Augustine of Canterbury, previously abbot of St. Andrew's Benedictine Abbey in Rome. He was sent by Pope Gregory the Great in A.D. 597 as a missionary to the Anglo-Saxons. Augustine founded the cathedral in 602 A.D. and dedicated it to St. Saviour. A pivotal moment in the history of Canterbury Cathedral was the martyrdom of St. Thomas Becket in the north-east transept on Tuesday December 29, 1170 by knights of King Henry II. The Cathedral became Anglican during the Reformation.

Very inspirational – and great choice of music – Eric would be proud! May all of the English Martyrs come to our assistance at this time in history!

Awesome video coverage. Great music, however, it’s not “The Truth MUST NEVER change” but rather, “THE Truth DOES Never Change.”
