Ave Maria!

In today's readings Fr Bonaventure talks about the forgetfulness of God.

One of the effects of original sin and our own personal sin is the forgetting of God and certainly that is the disease that effects modern society. In doing so we forget our origin and where we are to go.

Ave Maria!

    Dear Fr. Bonaventure,
I and my friend Arthur, both immensly enjoyed your homily about: “When we FORGET God!”
It’s true that most people have literally forgotten from whence they came, and the only time that they remember their Creator, is when there is some form of distress (Death; Calamity; Etc;), or other in their lives. Otherwise He is totally forgotten. It is also imperative that we remember to pray, and to make our lives into a daily prayer so that we continue to pray all day long, and in so doing, make like Jesus taught us to “Pray unceasingly!”
It was also nice that we saw you @ Br. Francis’ funeral and Mass on Sunday the 26th, of this month. We hope to see you again under other circumstances, and hope and pray that the Holy spirit continues to guide you, and work through you in Jesus.
Fr. Bonaventure; May God Bless you always in the Two Sacred Hearts of Jesus Px Mary; Now and Forever!
Your two servents in the Secular Franciscan Order,

PS: PLEASE CONTINUE TO BRING GOD’S WORD TO US THROUGH YOUR HOMILIES, AND ON AIRMARIA.COM. MAYBE SOME DAY EVERYONE WILL BE ON THIS WEBSITE AND LEARN MORE OF JESUS AND OUR BLESSED MOTHER MARY, AND THEN MAYBE WE WILL FINALLY HAVE PEACE IN THIS WORLD.
