Feb 4 – “The total offering of our will is too arduous, but let us remind ourselves that the Divine Master, when addressing in our name the words of the Pater to His Father: “Thy will be done”, saw very well in His divine mind how difficult it would be for us to succeed in that which He promised His Father in our name. The Good Jesus measured all too well with His divine eye the immensity of our weakness, which very often- in order to evade the Will of God – invents or, more accurately, pretends not to know It.”

Feb 5 – “Try to always be ready and prepared to do the Divine Will, which is always aimed at the glory of God and the good of our souls. Oh, how sweet is the thought: to do in all things the Divine Will! May the Good Jesus make you experience the most beautiful effects of It.”

“Let us offer to God our will with that same sentiment with which our Divine Master offered it for us to His Father. Let us offer it to Him, and may it be a complete offering, and what is more, may it be so in the practice of our lives. Let us not do as those children who, after having given the gift of a jewel, immediately- or almost immediately- repent of the offer made and ask for it back with tears; otherwise, our offering would be derisive.”
