One Minute Meditation
HAIL Mary, hope of Christians, hear the prayer of a sinner who loves you tenderly, who honors you in a special manner, who places in you the hope of his salvation. I owe you my life. You obtain for all the grace of your Divine Son. You are the sure pledge of my eternal happiness. I entreat you, deliver me from the burden of my sins, take away the darkness of my mind, destroy the earthly affections of my heart, defeat the temptations of my enemies, and rule all the actions of my life so that with you as guide I may arrive at the eternal happiness of heaven. Ave Maria! Host Corinn Dahm discusses with Fr. Peter Fehlner, FI the recent 90th anniversary of the last miracle of Fatima, the Coredemption Conference we held on that day, and Our Lady of America. Come listen how all this pertains in a vital way to the pro-life cause. Ave Maria! |
Ave Maria! As promised, here’s the shortened version of the video of the Visitation of Our Lady of America to NYC. It was amazing and touching to see the groundswell of devotion by the faithful to this new devotion in the Church to Our Lady of America. If the way the patrons of St Patrick’s Cathedral embraced Our Lady of America continues in the other places she will be visiting in the coming months, then I have no doubt that our Blessed Mother’s wish to have Her image of Our Lady of America enthroned at the National Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC, will be realized sooner than later. Ave Maria! |
Ave Maria! Update: See a shorter video here Here is the video. It was a while coming, but worth the wait. Wow! What an event, a lifetime experience, and so much video footage to edit! Thanks for your patience. It is a bit longer than most of our videos here on AirMaria, but every deletion was heart rending. We will hopefully be posting a shorter version tomorrow. This segment includes Our Lady of America at St. Peter’s, enthronement on the fire tuck, the trip past Ground Zero, Her arrival at St. Patrick’s and the devotions there. Many thanks to Denise Parlacoski and Kevin McCarthy for making this happen. Thanks to the Fire and Police Departments of Newark and New York, to the Port Authority, the dioceses of Newark and New York and to Fr. Kevin Madigan, pastor of St. Peter’s and Monsignor Robert T. Ritchie, rector of St. Patrick’s and many others. Thanks to all who attended these events and, finally, thanks to Our Lady of America for taking center stage in our troubled times. Our Lady of America, pray for us. Ave Maria! |
Ave Maria! The Airmaria crew were so blessed to be in NYC for a few days around the Sixth Anniversay of the 9/11 terrorist attack, covering a story about the Statue of Our Lady of America, which was enthroned in St Peter’s Church, on Chapel St. Just a few blocks down the street, at the WTC Path subway station, which is situated right in front of ground zero, friar Roderic, our Roving Reporter, met Kevin Calhoun, of the New York City Fire Dept, and shot this touching interview. This is what 9/11 is all about. It’s not about the destruction, it’s not about the devastation, it’s not about the new tower… it’s about people, it’s about heroes, it’s about love – it’ about the “Heart of America”. Ave Maria! |
Ave Maria! We are posting this video (filmed yesterday) from New York. Hopefully in the future we can do more of this, even live from the field. Come listen to this moving testimony from Denise Parlacoski who after making a prayer to Our Lady found herself in a 4 week odyssey that led to the miraculous overcoming of mountains of red tape and bureaucracy with several dioceses, Police Departments, Fire Departments, NY Port Authority all to bring Our Lady of America to Ground Zero, a true testimony to the providence of God. The fire truck is already at St. Peter’s and the statue will be enthroned on the truck at 3:15. The Governor of NY will be at the Mass for the Port Authority happening at the same time at St Peters so it will be quite an event. Then she will be processed in the motorcade around Ground Zero and then off to St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Ave Maria! |

The Statue of Our Lady of America will be at Ground Zero in Lower Manhattan on Tuesday 9/11 on the 6th annual commemoration of the terrorist attack on the Twin Towers. This is the same statue that was blessed by Archbishop Burke at the November 2006 Bishop’s Meeting of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) and was until yesterday enthroned at the Old Cathedral of St. Louis, MO. The crowds attending the devotion to Our Lady of America are expected to be large because for the first time the actual Ground Zero site will be closed to those coming to the commemoration. A large part of the NYPD and Fire Department are already shifting their attention to the devotions we are holding to Our Lady of America. This is understandable because Our Lady of America made dire predictions of what would happen if America did not cease to be purveyors of pornography and instead start to be promoters of purity. With the failure of raw military power to quell terrorism in Iraq and the spectre of a nuclear Iran, those who have suffered most from the last terrorist attack are seeing the need to take the apparitions of Our Lady seriously, to get back to God and purity, in order to fend off something worse. Old St. Peter’s on 22 Barclay St. adjacent to Ground Zero. The day before, Monday, the statue will be paraded around Ground Zero in a vintage 1958 Mack fire truck called “World Trade Center Number One” which was restored for the purpose of commemorating the Firemen and Policemen that heroically gave up their lives to save those trapped inside the towers. Several fire engines from New Jersey and New York and a large Police escort will accompany the motorcade. On 9/11 the day will start at 10am in Old St. Peters when the statue will be processed to the portico on Church Street overlooking Ground Zero. The Rosary will be recited, one mystery every hour, 11am Joyful, 12noon Luminous, 1pm Sorrowful, 2pm Glorious and then 3pm will be the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. The statue will then be carried by the fire truck to St. Patrick’s Cathedral at 460 Madison Ave arriving between 4 and 5pm, where it will be processed inside for further devotions. The Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate will be on site With Fr. Peter Fehlner and an Air Maria camera crew. Unfortunately there is not a possibility of a live broadcast on this short of notice. Also in attendance will be Fr. Basil Cole, O.P., internationally recognized theologian and author and long time promoter of Our Lady of America. This will be the beginning of a series of Masses and devotions in various parishes through out the New York, New Jersey area over the next month, many of which will be officiated by the Franciscans of the Immaculate. The spontaneity with which this event has come together, overcoming seemingly insurmountable obstacles, suggests that this is the will of Our Lady of America, that she take center stage. Ave Maria! |
