A Day With Mary at Oxford Oratory

We did our first ever live broadcast of a Day With Mary. We are still trying to find a good system that does not have ads since some of these are inappropriate. These broadcasts will be done on some Saturdays between 10am – 1530pm GMT or 5am to 12:30pm EST. They have these events every Saturday but they will be live broadcasted only as Internet connections from the locations permit. We will keep you posted.

Oct 30 – Homily – Fr Peter: Learn, Live, and Teach

Sunday, November 13th, 2011
Click to Play

Homily #111030m ( 14min) Play - Ave Maria!

We are all learners, and those who help others learn are also teachers and even “masters”. The pride of the dictatorship of relativism is the claim to know and teach the truth without God. However, teachers are only good teachers to the degree they know The Truth, Jesus Christ.  The most powerful lesson we can teach is that of a good life reflecting that of Jesus Himself.

Mass: 31st Sunday in Ordinary Time – Sunday – Form: OF
Readings:

1st: mal 1:14-2:2, 8-10
Resp: psa 131:1, 2, 3
2nd: 1th 2:7-9, 13

For this reason we have not given much advanced notice of our upcoming live broadcasts since we are still in the experimental stage.  This effort will require some purchasing of equipment so please be generous in this Lenten Season by pressing the donate button in the top of the right hand sidebar, Thank you.

Live from CT Capitol Bill 1098, Or is it Really about Bill 899?

Wednesday, March 11th, 2009
Ave Maria! Some testing on and off until 11am, start of main broadcast. Keep the Prayers going!

Take note! If you wonder why such a crazy bill has been introduced, it is widely rumored that it is to distract the attention of the Church and pro family groups from another bill, SB 899, that codifies into law the CT Supreme Court Kerrigan Case that instituted same sex ‘marriage’ in Connecticut. At issue there is the lack of any conscientious objection clauses in the bill and so it directly effects religious liberty and is much more likely to pass. So the emphasis of today will be to keep the Republicans and all citizens focused on SB 899.

Broadcast ended Ave Maria! See post above for more.

Live Broadcast of March for Life

Thursday, January 22nd, 2009
OK, we are going to give it a try, broadcasting live from the Mall the entire March for Life, starting at 12 noon, God willing. We did the test on Tuesday on the way down in the car so it seemed to have worked. However, we are going to try this with a cellular modem connection and it has not been tested in an area where there are 100,000+ marchers many of whom are also using their cellular phones. It could be a spotty broadcast. But, if you think it is worth while, then tell your friends by email, etc. And join the chat below. Keep us in your prayers. Ave Maria!
