Mission Down Under #5 – Bluff Knoll Lenten Retreat – Part 2 ( 09min) >>> Play

Ave Maria!

The Friars in Australia led a weekend Men’s Lenten Retreat in Borden, WA, complete with talks, Liturgy of the Hours and Holy Mass. The “highpoint” of the retreat was the hike up Bluff Knoll (elev. 1095m) where we enjoyed the view and celebrated Holy Mass – likely the first time Holy Mass was ever celebrated up there!

Homily #080811 ( 19min) Play – On this feast of St. Clare, celebrated as a Solemnity at our Franciscan Friary, Fr. Angelo Geiger preaches on the Gospel passage “I am the vine and you are the branches” to explain to us how St. Francis and St. Clare and their two orders relate to each other, the importance of poverty and, finally, how Our Lady fits in. And, of course, St Clare is our Patron Saint for AirMaria so it is doubly a time for celebration.

Come Follow Me #1 – Fr. Joseph McShane pilots his new show on Vocations >>> Play

Ave Maria!

Fr. Joseph Michael McShane the Vocations Director for the Franciscans of the Immaculate in N. America delivers his first episode of our new weekly series on vocations. This will be dedicated to discerning what God is calling us to do with our lives, focussing on the very special calling to the priesthood and religious life. It will be based on our very popular book Come & Follow Me which has many spiritual treasures from the lives and sayings of the saints to help inspire young men and women to give themselves totally to God. This episode will discuss what is a vocation and the importance of taking time to discern what you are being called to.

Come & Follow Me By Fr. Stefano Maneli, Founder the Franciscans of the Immaculate. Help get this book distributed in Parishes, adoration chapels, CCD classes, vocation directors, for the renewal of the Church. Volume discounts available.
