Ave Maria!
In this inspiring conference, Fr. Angelo Maria Geiger, F.I., explains the concept of Marian Militancy, the spiritual battle for souls fought under the leadership of Our Lady and Queen, Mary, Victress of Lepanto. He shows how we can apply Genesis 3 and Apocalypse 12 to our individual lives through the virtuous accomplishment of our daily duty, along with the prayers (Holy Mass, Rosary), works (charity) and sacrifices (fasting) of the Church Militant, Suffering and Triumphant. Through these means, we will win the spiritual battle against Satan, and achieve the ultimate goal of every Roman Catholic, the sanctification of ourselves and others.

During the “Knights of Lepanto Father and Sons Summer Encampment” a “Slip-n-Slide” is set up to cool down.
The Knights of Holy Mary Victrix at Lepanto is a specific group for men only within the Mission of the Immaculate Mediatrix (MIM). The MIM is the Roman Catholic public association of the faithful, founded by Fr. Stefano M. Manelli and attached to the religious institute that he also founded, the Franciscans of the Immaculate. The spirituality of the MIM is unlimited consecration to Mary according to the teaching of St. Maximilian Mary Kolbe. Thus, the Knights of Lepanto is a group of men who are formed to live consecration to Mary in a masculine way.

Homily #100530 ( 26min) Play – For Holy Trinity Sunday and the closing Mass for the Knights of Lepanto Father-Son Encampment, Fr Angelo preaches on how the Trinity is three Persons and yet united as if it where and Army, working as one for the salvation of all men. He stresses the need to acknowledge that the Second Person of the Trinity became man to win our salvation and so enable the Holy Trinity to dwell within us. Our hearts then become the divine fortress of the Trinity and this forms the base to sally forth and practice the virtues, especially charity.

Homily #090524 ( 22min) Play - On this Seventh Sunday of Easter, which is the final Mass of the Knights of Lepanto Encampment, Fr. Angelo preaches on how the Apostles are not of this world and so too we should be in the world but not of it and we should be patient with those who sin and even those who sin against us just as Jesus was with Judas.
We celebrated the Ascension of Our Lord at its traditional time last Thursday.

Fr. Angelo gives a talk on chivalry to the older kids (12 and up) at the Knights of Lepanto Encampment, covering what chivalry meant popularly in Medieval times, what it has come to mean popularly today and the truly noble meaning it acquired with St Francis and how we need to live this noble and saintly chivalry today.

Standing Fast #28 – A Young Knight recites the Four Rules of Knighthood ( 2min) >>> Play |

|
|
Ave Maria!
This was sent to us by someone who attended the last Knights of Lepanto Encampment with his son who is the main actor along with Fr. Angelo. He filmed it himself and his children edited it, pretty good for a first try. We need more Catholics doing this. Bravo!
They cover the four rules of being a knight that were discussed at the encampment. These are:
1. Morning Act of Offering
2. Daily Examination of Conscience
3. Treat your Mother with Respect
4. Treat your Sister(s) with Respect
This sounds really tough for a knight of any age, but for one so young! But, hey, no pain no gain. At least there is no “Clean your Room Every Day.” Or is this included in “Treat your Mother with Respect”?

Homily #080720 ( 22min) Play – Fr. Angelo preaches on the Sunday Mass at the end of our Encampment Weekend for the Knights of Lepanto. The day’s Gospel has three parables of the Kingdom of God, the Field with the Wheat and the Weeds, the Mustard Seed, and the Yeast and the Bread. These parables that are agricultural in their details hark back to the fall which involved good and bad fruit, and so, underscores how salvation comes to us in the same way that the fall happened but in reverse. Listen as Father explains how this refers to our need to battle temptations in our life, to uphold family life and how this fits with the role of the Knights of Lepanto.
