Homily #080727 ( 10min) Play – Fr. Bonaventure preaches on this 3rd Order Sunday where Fr. Stefano Manelli, our founder, is the celebrant. Fr. Bonaventure points out that the parables of the Buried Treasure and the Pearl of Great Price tell us that all things are to be counted as loss compared to the treasure of the Gospel. This treasuring of the Gospel is key to being a true disciple of Christ, and so, Mary is the greatest disciple who pondered the Gospel in her Immaculate Heart.

And think of the blankets and think of the bread You could buy with the silver and gold;’
he said, “You could buy with the silver and gold.” (more…)
