I'd like to be the one up front driving! I dragged with a Corvet once...loved it! Been on the back of a bike racing another bike, just not the same.

The Mustang GT over a bike any day. Oh, to hear one of those engines idling.....Yeah.
Pedal to the medal! Screeeeeeeeeeeeeeech!

(Just having a little fun.) :)

Ave Maria!
Trying to decide who's got the best seat. And, the mother in me, wonders where your helmets are with that crazy driver at the helm. No wonder Father Dominic is clutching onto the Crucifix.

Thanks for continuing to delve into West's work and point out the problems with it. I have a cousin who is a SOLT sister and she's way, way into West and the TOB. To a degree that concerns me, frankly, but that's neither here nor there. What is important is that his work continued to be examined both for its internal problems and for how it deviates from the actual content of Pope John Paul II's audiences. Frankly, I just don't find West that interesting, I think his obsession with sex is telling. I value the work you, and Dawn and Steve, have done very much.

Oh, and I was blessed make Fr. Jacinto's acquaintance this week. I love and support FI!

Not *all* wrong-doing is to be borne silently, nor even patiently. Jesus gave us example of that in the gospels.

The Angelic Doctor of the Church deferred to that example:

"To bear with patience wrongs done to oneself is a mark of perfection, but to bear with patience wrongs done to someone else is a mark of imperfection *and even of actual sin*."

-St. Thomas Aquinas

In our quest to be made perfect in Christ Jesus, which is a good thing, we may often mistake silence and patience as the only proper Christian response to wrong-doing. Yet, there are times when it takes more than that, if we are to attempt to truly and whole-heartedly follow Christ, and to give ourselves completely to Him. It seems to me that very often we have missed the point of St. Thomas, as he states it in the above comment.
