Homily #120402 ( 06min) Play - In today’s Gospel we see a good action and a bad action. Mary Magdalen anoints Jesus with oil and Judas is indignant and wants the ointment sold to feed the poor – we too can choose the good or the bad. Intentions are what make actions good. Actions are good if done with an upright intention. We should do all things for the the sake of Christ. Who are we going to imitate? Judas or Mary Madgelene?

Father uses this paradox to point out our own lack of conviction when it is based on natural enthusiasm and thus our need to always ask for the grace of perseverance and to confirm this in habitual acts of self denial and charity.
