Homily #120504 ( 05min) Play – In early Christian times Christianity was called “The Way” and those who followed it where called disciples or followers, students of The Way, who would be imitators of Christ and His Way. In this way others are able to see Christ in us and so we can lead others to eternal life as we ourselves walk toward that reward which God has prepared for us.

Homily #120503 ( 10min) Play – On the Feast of Sts. Philip and James Fr. Angelo preaches on the Apostolic succession of the bishops that constitutes the Apostolicity of the Church, one of the four marks of the Church to recognize the true Church. As any bishop lays hands on a new bishop they pass on what they have received from their successor and this goes back to the Apostles handing on what Jesus Himself gave to them and is the key to how Jesus fulfills His promise that the Holy Spirit will always be with His Church. This is a great assurance and source of Hope. Let us rejoice in it and give thanks to God.
