Ave Maria Meditations
O gentle Queen, the Spirit’s chaste abode: help us prepare for Him a worthy throne. The way is dark and life a weary road; our will is weak, ‘neath sorrow’s sting we groan. To thee we turn in exile and alone, to see His presence singing in thy heart. Our consecration to His love we own; as thou thyself His tabernacle art: His temples we shall be, and ne’er from Him depart.
God of love, Father of all, the darkness that covered the earth has given way to the bright dawn of Your Word made flesh. Make us a people of this light. Make us faithful to Your Word, that we may bring Your life to the waiting world. Grand this through Christ Our Lord.
