Apr 18 – Homily – Fr Matthias: Sharing in the Passion

Homily #140418n ( 12min) Play Father Matthias shows us that Jesus truly reigned from the Cross. Far from defeat, it is the crowning moment of Truth and Love which does not rule with force or empty promises like the World, but with the testimony of Suffering. God became obedient in order to restore our freedom. We are called to chose Christ, and this means to imitate Him in His obedience and suffering--we cannot be spectators to the Pascal Mystery. Let us run to the Mother of Jesus who became our Mother this very day, and place all our hope in Her, for only those who were with Her persevered to the Cross.
