Father focuses on the fact that their faith was unshakable in the face of torture, temptation and threat of death. He relates this to the habits of virtue and vice and how vice leads to imprisonment and the virtue leads to freedom, the kind of freedom where one can selflessly offer up his life to give witness to the faith.
