In 2004 my husband and I went on pilgrimage to Lourdes. Fantastic experience! On one Saturday night in September, I was asked to lead a decade of the rosary in English and so I was able to watch more than 40,000 people with their candles enter into the piazza area. It was stupendous! And so spiritually powerful. So many praying and in so many languages. But the Latin prayers were where we could all pray together with one voice for the Salve Regina, the Ave Maria, the Gloria Patris.
