Great homily, Father! I truly wish someone would hold me accountable! That I might have to answer the question,”How are you doing with your Advent resolutions?” But when I must police myself…well, I know where the confessional is.

But if I had to answer to a person, I think that would help get me through the temptation to slide on my little penances.

So I am glad you will be following up with those in your charge! That is a big help I think.

Wonderful Homily! I like the suggestions. Sadly, until the last few years, I never knew we were supposed to perform penance during Advent.

FYI – the banner is announcing the wrong priest as the homilist.
