Someone should be protesting the Protestants for palming off on an unsuspecting public the theological virus-becoming-an-epidemic known as the rapture – theologically the “any-moment pre-tribulation rapture” promoted in recent years by Falwell, Hagee, Lindsey, LaHaye, Ice, Van Impe etc. ad vomitum! Many still don’t know that this violent anti-Catholic doctrine is only 179 years old. But historian Dave MacPherson knows it and has eight books’ worth of jolting facts on it since he’s been busy in his rapture diggings for more than 40 years now. His bestselling tell-all book is “The Rapture Plot” which can turn even his critics inside out. And check out his web blasts on Google including “Pretrib Rapture Dishonesty,” “Edward Irving is Unnerving” (which I spotted on Joe Ortiz’ “OUR DAILY BREAD” on Nov. 12) “X-Raying Margaret,” “Pretrib Hypocrisy,” and “Roots of (Warlike) Christian Zionism.”
