I actually went to Mass twice. Drove 150 miles to attend Holy Mass with procession at an FSSP parish. Wonderful! But went earlier to my parish. No incense, no special altar clothes or venstments, no processions but a gentle sermon and I recalled that where I used to live whenever there was a Eucharistic theme, we would generally have a money appeal. But I thought too soon. The business administrator came to the ambo and gave a 15 minute money appeal. I prayed a rosary during that time. So it is nice to be able to come to Air Maria and always get a faithful homily! And I have not ever heard a 15 minute money appeal yet! I enjoyed listening. I actually went to Mass twice.
