In the first video of our International Centenary Symposium on the Mariology of Bl. John Duns Scotus, Fr. Peter gives a short introduction on the nature and importance of the Mariology of Scotus who, in the words of the Jesuit poet Gerard Manley Hopkins, "fired France for Mary without spot". (His poem 'Duns Scotus' Oxford', referenced by Fr. Peter, is posted below.)
Towery city and branchy between towers;
Cuckoo-echoing, bell-swarmèd, lark-charmèd, rook-racked, river-rounded;
