Dec 3 – St. Pio Daily – A Violinist’s Patience

Ave Maria!December’s Theme: Humility

“We must behave in those times of struggle as a violinist usually behaves. Whenever the poor person notices a discordance, he neither breaks the string nor gives up playing the violin, but he immediately lends his ear in order to discover from where the discordance comes. Then he patiently tightens or loosens the string accordingly.
Well then, you too behave in this way. Don’t become impatient at such wearisome matters, nor should you desire to break the string when you notice some kind of discordance; but patiently humble yourself before God. Gently tighten or loosen the string of your heart before the heavenly Musician, in order that He might reorganize the concert.”
