Ave Maria!– August’s Theme: The Missions “We should realize, o brothers, that we are not in any way indispensable for the Immaculate and, if we do not respond to Her desires, She will easily find other missionaries who are more zealous than we. But if we respond, we will not be able avoid extraordinary blessings. For example: the sanctification of the members of the Institute and such a multiplication [of vocations] as to make blush the present numbers of the other Franciscan congregations.” (cf. SK #663)
