Fi News – AirMaria’s First Live Broadcast Saturday, September 8

By September 4, 2007May 8th, 2008Air Maria, AirMaria Updates, Announcement

Ave Maria!

We are announcing our first Live Broadcast which will be on the occasion of the Solemn Profession of Fra Joseph Mary on the Feast of the Birth of Our Lady on Saturday, Sept 8 at 7pm. The service will consist of a Mass with the profession right after the homily. It will probably go for one and a half hours but possibly as long as two hours. This is the same Fra Joseph who does No Apologies here on Air Maria so we are all very excited as he makes his final profession of the four vows (Total Consecration to the Immaculate, Poverty, Chastity and Obedience) in the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate. So come check it out this Saturday at 7pm, Live.

    How fantastic!

I’m afraid we won’t be able to watch, though – because WE’LL be LIVE at the Mass (God willing)!!

Thanks – and we look forward to many more live broadcasts!
    Ave Maria!

  • Son of the Immaculate says:

Will this be archived too, so that those who can’t watch it live will still have an opportunity to do so?

  • apostolate says:

    Dear Son of the Immaculate,

We will try archiving. This is all new to us and we are experimenting as we go. Hopefully it will all work out.

For those who watch this live there may be some interesting bloopers. Fun for the whole family.

    Ave Maria!

    Ave Maria!

By the way, what is everyone’s oppinion in regard to having daily live broadcasts of our Vespers and Benediction service 7-8pm?

  • Son of the Immaculate says:

    Ave Maria!

    That’s a wonderful idea!

  • Luke says:

I think it sounds like a good idea

  • Nancy F. says:

I really like the idea of a live Vespers and Benediction…

  • Set All Afire says:

    Ave Maria,
God, and Our Lady has truly blessed us with a devout, generous, humble, and talented man. Fra Joseph certainly fits his name, young men should follow his example, of kindness, and love for Our Lady. I am honored just to know him, and I pray that my sons will emulate his acts of charity.

“Blessed be the Name of “JESUS!” in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Alter!”
I cannot think of a better way to spend one’s day than to be with those who are so faithful that they not only share their “TRUE FAITH”
but to also let us (and those not so fortunate to be able to venture out), see some of the most wonderful aspects of one’s life with their profession, and Total Consecration to the Immaculate.
I believe that this will help to soften some hardened hearts, and to let others feel, as well as see, the spirit of Christ, first hand in someone who’s heart belongs totally to god through Jesus, and Our Blessed Mother Mary, of whom this act is about.
This is not about one’s self, but about the GIVING UP (so to speak), of one’s life TOTALLY and INFINITELY, to the IMMACULATE, who will use Fra Joseph as She so desires, and see’s fit to do so as She will have TOTAL REIGN over Fra Joseph’s soul, and can use him to help bring other souls to Her Son.
Fra Joseph; May the Grace of God Our Father be with you! May the Crucified Christ Touch you with His Wisdom, and Understanding! And; May the Holy Spirit work through you, and let His Words pour fourth from your lips.
I will be praying for you that you will know that no matter where you may be at any time that the Mantle of Mary will surround you with Her Grace, and Protection, and that you will always be a “Beacon of Christ’s Light!” to whomever you meet!”
“BLESSED BE JESUS Px MARY! NOW AND FOREVER!” AMEN!
    AVE MARIA!

PS: WHERE IS THIS GOING TO TAKE PLACE? THE PLACE WAS NEVER MENTIONED IN THE FI NEWS, ANNOUNCEMENT ABOVE. PLEASE POST THIS AS I BELIEVE THAT THERE ARE MANY WHO’D LIKE TO GO, BUT HAVE NO IDEA WHERE THIS WILL TAKE PLACE. AVE MARIA!

  • This is so awesome. Fra Joseph and I are from the same parish and I am very good friends with all of his family. We are not able to travel to come witness so this is truly a wonderful blessing. Thank you!!!

  • GEORGEM says:

Absolutely wonderful. Fr. Peter’s homily, Fr. Angelo’s “reading” of the gospel, the entire ceremony was perfectly done. Very solemn. OK. When can I start watching daily mass on this site.
