Ave Maria! There are many lessons we can learn from today’s Gospel of St. Mark. What reigned in the house of in the house of Herod reigns in the modern world. The vice of lust and we see how it infiltrated to the very depths of the heart of even the children who dwelt in the house of Herod by the callousness with which the child asked for the head of John the Baptist. Ave Maria!
