Ave Maria! Today we read that Satan entered into the heart of Judas Iscariot. What was the reason for Judas’ betrayal? There are many speculations on this question, but the full answer ” as with all questions regarding the motives of the human heart ” lies with God alone. One thing, though, is clear: Judas put more faith in his own ideas and in his own intelligence more than he put in God’s ideas and in God’s intelligence. Is that not at the heart of our current crisis of faith? Let’s listen to Fr. Joachim’s wonderful homily on today’s Gospel and how we can apply it’s lesson to our own lives. Ave Maria!
