"If you remain in My word, you will truly be my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." Today's readings reveal to us two key truths of the Faith: life with Christ brings freedom from the misery of sin, and following Christ means that you will suffer insults, derision, and even the threat of death. The more we are persecuted, the more our good God comforts and strengthens us, so don't be afraid! Catholicism gives life to the soul and light and life to the world; secularism fills the soul with misery and covers the earth with darkness. Listen today to Fr.
