Ave Maria! Today’s Gospel speaks of the woman caught in adultery and placed at the feet of Jesus. The Law of Moses commanded such a person to be stoned to death, so what would Jesus’ response be? In this thoughtful reflection, Fr. Elias reminds us that this adulterous woman is a symbol of all of us who have turned toward sin rather than turning toward the good God. Ave Maria! |
