Using the example of the self-righteous Pharisees in Today's Gospel Fr. Bonaventure calls us to meditate this lent on how only the humble and repentant soul receives God's mercy, that we must embrace the Cross and to walk in its light, our one true hope. We are to do this at the Holy Sacrifice of Mass where we will find Our Lady and become her little child.
